Step by step
  1. 01The listener says "Alexa, open Bade Chote Jokes".
  2. 02Alexa hears it and invokes the Bade Chote skill.
  3. 03The skill runs its Lambda function, which calls the backend.
  4. 04The backend returns a joke.
  5. 05Alexa speaks the joke back to the listener.

My part

I built the skill end to end: the skill itself, the server it runs on and the production deploys, and I kept it running after launch.
